Grubb & Ellis Co. reps Ruberto Israel & Weiner in 16,000 s/f lease

Grubb & Ellis Co. represented the business law firm of Ruberto Israel & Weiner, P.C., in the lease of 16,000 s/f of office space at 255 State St. from Pembroke Real Estate. Karyn McFarland, senior vice president, and Matthew Godoff, associate, both of the Office Group, facilitated the transaction on behalf of the tenant. Deb Gould and Tim Bianchi of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord. The lease represents a headquarters relocation for the law firm, which was previously located at 100 N. Washington St. "This new location provides a more efficient layout and takes advantage of market conditions to upgrade the quality of the suite," said McFarland. "While Ruberto Israel & Weiner's previous home is an excellent building, I know many of the firm's professionals are excited about the change of scenery after 26 years, and they are eager to share the new space with their clients." Among the benefits of the new space include a view of the Boston Harbor, location on the city's Greenway and newer construction. The law firm will also adopt a floor plan that will reduce its footprint to one floor from two.
