How many years have you been in your current field? 30

What was your company’s greatest achievement of 2018? To accommodate our accelerating growth we hired several additional staff. All have proven to be fantastic, and we feel so fortunate to have such an excellent team of motivated, bright individuals with high values and great people skills. 

What is the most exciting job/project for your company in 2019? It is difficult to pinpoint one project. There were many, and they are all exciting. What I love about our industry is that there are so many possibilities when faced with the task of helping to create a corporate, university or healthcare environment that reflects who they are and welcomes all who work, study or visit there. We’re very good at what we do because we care about each project, and each project is refreshingly different. 

What do you like the most about doing business in the Hartford Region? We chose Hartford in 2006 because of the energy of the region and the evident excitement about the many programs and projects geared toward rejuvenating the city. Our first location was downtown Hartford in the old G FOX building, beautifully refurbished and filled with history. We now have a showroom in Farmington with 136’ of floor to ceiling windows; lots of natural light and a beautiful view! 

So many organizations, like Metro Hartford Alliance, were there to support us and still do; and I wish there was space to name them all. 

What is the forecast for your company’s industry in Hartford Region going forward? Very bright and positive!!

What Hartford Region networking opportunities does your business participate in? The Construction Institute, IIDA, CREW, CoreNet, and local Chambers of Commerce.
