Heald joins CBRE as exec. vice president

BOSTON, MA Industry veteran Nat Heald has joined CBRE Capital Markets as executive vice president to focus on institutional sales of retail assets.

Heald has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and specializes in the sale of retail real estate including grocery-anchored shopping centers, urban retail properties and large single-tenant assets. He has been involved in over $6 billion of retail property sales in the U.S. since 2005.

“Nat is a uniquely skilled capital markets advisor with a deep understanding of retail real estate. He will help to expand and fortify our platform in New England and the entire Northeast region,” said Chris Decoufle, managing director for retail capital markets in the U.S. for CBRE.

“I’m extremely impressed by the team’s ability to track and share the movement of capital across the country, which directly results in world class real estate solutions. In partnership with the firm’s retail-focused leasing, debt and equity practices, the CBRE platform will greatly enhance the value I can provide to clients,” said Heald.

Heald joins CBRE from JLL, where he served as managing director in the firm’s capital markets team since 2015. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president with CBRE in New England, primarily focused on the Northeast region.
