High Ridge Park celebrates 3rd annual Music Bee

August 05, 2010 - Connecticut
Members of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford recently tested their music knowledge at the third annual Music Bee. The contest is the culminating event of the 13-week music appreciation program at the Boys & Girls Club which is sponsored annually by High Ridge Park Corporate Center.
"We look forward to the Music Bee more each year as the program continues to grow," said Jodi Gutierrez, vice president of property management for George Comfort & Sons and on-site property manager of High Ridge Park Corporate Center. "Children who participate in the program gain valuable learning skills that can be applied to many different aspects of their lives."
High Ridge Park donates $10,000 each year to the Stamford Boys and Girls Club to fund the music appreciation program. The program, open to children in grades 1-5, was developed and taught by the Stamford Symphony, and meets the Connecticut Education Standards for Social Studies. The program is also supported by the City of Stamford Community Arts Partnership Program. Prizes were awarded.

High Ridge Park Corporate Center will be spearheading and participating in the fourth annual Fairfield County Property Manager and Landlord Blood Drive Challenge for the American Red Cross. The Blood Drive Challenge will continue through the month of August.
"There is an enormous need for blood donations in Connecticut and we strive each year to meet that need with our Blood Drive Challenge," said Gutierrez. "We are looking to donate more this year than we ever have before."
