Holmes of Nitsch Enginering to present at ASLA Annual Meeting & Expo on Nov. 24

Denver, CO From November 21-24, the ASLA Annual Meeting & Expo will provide landscape architects and site designers with inspiration and practical knowledge centered around this year’s theme: Resilience. Nitsch Engineering is supporting this goal by presenting Kennedy|Greened” A DC Water Green Infrastructure Challenge Finalist.

On Nov. 24 at 10:30am, Nicole Holmes, PE, LEED AP BD+C, project manager for green infrastructure design at Nitsch Engineering; Seth Charde, LEED AP, of DC Water; Kevin Perry, ASLA, of Urban Rain|Design; and Stacy Levy of Sere will share the green-infrastructure design strategies for Kennedy|Greened, a DC Water Green Infrastructure Challenge winner.

Attendees will learn how Kennedy|Greened became an important part of DC Water’s hybrid Green/Gray Infrastructure investment plan; see how innovative stormwater strategies can be employed within streetscape projects; discover how landscape architects, civil engineers, and artists can work together to create a high-performance streetscape retrofit; and understand the key elements in crating a successful greenstreet demonstration project.
