Interstate Electric named Qualified Partner in Efficiency Maine program

York, ME Interstate Electric Service Corp. has been named a “Qualified Partner” in Maine’s Efficiency Maine program. Efficiency Maine is the independent administrator for energy efficiency programs in Maine. Qualified Partner status is necessary for contractors who want to apply for state energy conservation rebates for their customers.

Efficiency Maine “has designated the state’s most experienced vendors, contractors, suppliers and energy professionals that install energy efficiency equipment as Qualified Partners,” according to the organization.

“The Efficiency Maine program supports high-efficiency construction projects with both customer rebates and technical assistance,” said James Alibrandi, president of Interstate. “We are excited to be able to work with our customers to fully maximize the benefits this program provides.”

Efficiency Maine’s mission is to lower the cost and environmental impacts of energy in Maine by promoting cost-effective energy efficiency and alternative energy systems.
