Janson of Robinson & Cole named to NTHP national board of advisors

The National Trust for Historic Preservation has appointed Robinson & Cole Real Estate Practice Group counsel Charles Janson to its national board of advisors. During this three-year appointment beginning this October, Janson will provide guidance on important preservation issues and participate in activities to support the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Janson's practice focuses on real estate and land use law. He is involved in land conservation with the National Park Service's historic property of Weir Farm in Wilton and Ridgefield. He is a board member of the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation and the Museum Trustee Association.
Janson has experience in museum development and operations, land trust acquisitions, and developing ownership affordable housing in Fairfield County for a nonprofit.
