Jewett promotes Holcomb to general superintendent

Fremont, NH Jewett Construction has promoted George Holcomb to general superintendent. Prior to his promotion, Holcomb held the title of superintendent.

“This promotion reflects George’s many contributions to Jewett Construction,” said Alain LeBlanc, director of field operations at Jewett. “George’s dedication to safety on job sites is an asset to this team. His keen eye for safety, quality, scheduling, and project budgets will benefit all of the projects we have in place for 2021 and beyond. We have been very impressed with his performance and dedication and we are thrilled to see him advance to this new role.”

As general superintendent, Holcomb will not only oversee and manage project job sites, he will also act as a mentor for all incoming field employees. Holcomb has been instrumental in optimizing Jewett’s field strategy and has been in the construction industry for over 40 years. 

He has vast construction experience as a builder working in many different markets and market segments, and on projects small and large, ground-up buildings, and renovations. Holcomb brings an immense amount of building and constructability acumen, a great knowledge of the New England market, and high energy to this position. Holcomb looks forward to playing an important role in the continued success of Jewett Construction for years to come.
