JM Coull tops off PerkinElmer 40,000 s/f addition; part of Personalized Health Innovation Center of Excellence

JM Coull, Inc. completed the structural steel frame of the 40,000 s/f office addition for PerkinElmer as part of the development of the company's new Personalized Health Innovation Center of Excellence. The center will focus on accelerating scientific innovation to help researchers who are working to eradicate disease and extend the quality and longevity of life. A topping off ceremony was held on site in honor of JM Coull employee Dan Mahoney who recently underwent a bone marrow transplant. Mahoney has been a member of the JM Coull team for nearly 20 years but has 40 years of experience in the mechanical systems industry and technical systems design and construction. His expertise has been a primary factor in JM Coull's success in the advanced technology industry. Project manager Marc Moschella coordinated the ceremony commemorating the placement of the last beam in honor of Mahoney, who continues to move forward with his battle. The beam displays an image of Mahoney and messages from friends and co-workers. "Dan Mahoney has been an integral part of JM Coull's most technologically advanced projects for 20 years. This tribute at the site of a Center of Excellence for health innovation, is a fitting way of honoring his contributions to the construction industry and his current personal struggle," said Moschella. Working with Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects, JM Coull recently completed renovations to an existing suite of cleanrooms and gowning room for PerkinElmer and continues to work on renovations and other additions to the Hopkinton site.
