Kaplan-Weber joins Union Savings Bank as VP, business banking

Danbury, CT Union Savings Bank (USB) announces that Liz Kaplan-Weber has joined the bank as a VP, business banking officer.

In her new role, Kaplan-Weber is responsible for business development, commercial lending, and financial analysis. She works out of the Southbury office located at 406 Main St.

Kaplan-Weber brings more than nine years of banking experience to USB. Most recently she was an assistant vice president, business banking relationship manager at Citizens Bank. Prior to that, she held positions of increasing responsibility including personal banker, business banking specialist and senior banking specialist at Wells Fargo Bank.

“We’re happy to welcome Liz to Union Savings Bank,” said Marlene Piche, SVP branch and business banking. “Her comprehensive commercial lending experience combined with her ability to create and maintain strong business relationships makes her a valuable addition to the USB team.”

Kaplan-Weber studied business administration and management at Gateway Community College, Phoenix, AZ, and earned certifications in Commercial Loans to Business (CLSB) and Financial Accounting for Lenders (FAL) from Moody’s Analytics. She currently resides in Middletown, CT.
