Konover Commercial awarded property management contract

The State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services has awarded Konover Commercial Corporation (KCC) a new five-year contract for the management of office space and parking facilities located in Waterbury and Torrington.
Under the new contract, KCC will provide property management services for two properties in Waterbury, 55 West Main St., a 99,700 s/f office building with a parking garage, and 395 West Main St., a 28,200 s/f office building with a parking garage. In addition, the contract includes 59 Field St. in Torrington, a 43,500 s/f office building with parking garage.
"This new contract is a testament to the exceptional value offered by Konover Commercial, as well as our performance at other State-owned properties," said Elizabeth Judd, president of KCC. "We are honored to add these three facilities to our property management portfolio."
The new five-year contract, which was obtained through a competitive procurement process, was awarded in December 2012 and commenced on January 1.
