Lee Kennedy Co. awarded 5,500 s/f project at Jordan Hospital

Lee Kennedy Co. has been awarded the 5,500 s/f Breast Center renovation project at Jordan Hospital. This marks the contractor's first pairing with the hospital, expanding its client base in the healthcare sector. The updated space, designed by Quincy-based JACA Architects, will feature new mammography exam rooms, radiology, ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy suites, a nurses' station and office areas. Work is currently underway; the new space will be online in early October. Lee Kennedy's team will be working in active patient areas and adjacent to an operating MRI unit, making logistics planning, communication and containment critical to the project's success. "We are excited to partner with Jordan Hospital on this project. The Breast Center renovation is ideal for our specialized team given our experience in active hospital environments. We are proud to help Jordan Hospital continue to offer high quality patient care through this much-needed renovation," said Lee Michael Kennedy, President & CEO of Lee Kennedy Co., Inc. The Jordan Hospital project is the latest in a growing portfolio of healthcare work for Lee Kennedy Co. that includes projects at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, Shriner's Hospital, Somerville Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital, among others.
