ICON architecture, inc., a women-owned firm with 35 staff, provides award-winning work focused on sustainable urban development, housing, and education architecture. Their housing projects create new paradigms for city living ranging from infill transit-oriented development to innovative adaptive reuse. The projects mix uses—high-end market housing with workforce/affordable units, artist live/work communities with retail and office incubator environments, and collegiate facilities engaging their neighborhood edges.
"A creative company like ICON architecture, inc. needed a specific type of collaborative space and we were glad to work with them to meet that need," said McFarland.
101 Summer St. is a 5-story, class B office building with ground floor retail located in Downtown Crossing. The building is 100% leased.
