Meyer & Meyer wins 3 awards at "Nobody Does it Better" ceremony

Meyer & Meyer Architecture and Interior Design was presented with three Gold Awards at the 2007 Prism Awards "Nobody Does It Better" ceremony held at the Park Plaza Hotel. Presented by the Builders Association of Greater Boston, the PRISM Awards honor exceptional building, remodeling, design, sales and marketing in the Greater Boston area. Meyer and Meyer was honored for Best New Home over $500,000, Best Renovation of a Home over $500,000, and Best Luxury Bath. The Gold Award for Best New Home was for "Darlington Hall" in North Salem, N.Y. This 12,000 s/f home is on an 85-acre site. Designed in the English Georgian style, the house features seven bedrooms, formal living room and dining room, and a series of libraries and music rooms. William Pressley Associates was responsible for the land planning and landscape design. English Rose was the recipient of the Best Remodeling/Restoration project. For this 1929 Georgian Estate, Meyer and Meyer provided services including interior rebuilding of two-thirds of the house to create a new master suite, a third floor bedroom suite, a new entry, reception halls, and construction of a new main stair. Woodmeister Master Builders was responsible for construction and millwork, John Canning Studios were the decorative painters and master finishers and interior merchandiser was Eugene Lawrence & Co.
