Moore and Oppenheim of Lincoln Property Company represent Cambridge College in 8,300 s/f

Lawrence, MA According to Cambridge College and Lincoln Property Company, the college has signed an 8,300 s/f lease at 280 Merrimack St. The building is owned by Lupoli Companies’ Riverwalk Properties. During lease negotiations, Cambridge College was represented by Jeffrey Moore and Ken Oppenheim of Lincoln Property Co. Lupoli Companies was represented by Gerry-Lynn Darcy, vice president of real estate at Lupoli Companies.

Cambridge College offers flexible undergraduate and graduate degree programs across six locations nationwide in Cambridge, Springfield, and Lawrence, MA, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Inland Empire, CA. In addition to the new Lawrence location, Cambridge College has signed a lease to consolidate their Cambridge locations to one space at Hood Park in Charlestown, MA. Lincoln Property Company also facilitated this transaction.

Riverwalk Properties is a prominent asset of Lupoli Companies, the owner and developer of several mixed-use properties that encompass more than 3.6 million square feet of commercial space. In 2003 Salvatore Lupoli, CEO and founder, searched for space to build a larger commissary for his growing chain of pizzerias, Sal’s Pizza. Following the purchase of the first mill, Lupoli bought nine more dilapidated buildings on the 46-acre parcel that he renamed Riverwalk Properties while spending nearly $200 million on acquisitions and renovations. Today, Riverwalk is home to over 200 companies that fuse together a diverse yet complimentary mix of office, retail and manufacturing spaces.
