Naji of Coldwell Banker Realty Sharon-Canton closes on $3.889 million acquisition for nonprofit, Malik Academy

Roxbury, MA Barrie Naji, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty Sharon-Canton regional office and founder of Barrie Sells Boston/Global Lux Collective, has represented a nonprofit organization, Malik Academy, in the purchase of a major commercial property that will soon serve as Blackstone Islamic Education Collaborative, an Islamic School and Community Center for families in the greater Boston area. The transaction closed today at $3,888,500.

This acquisition of the former City On A Hill Charter School, located at 58 Circuit St., marks the conclusion of a long and challenging journey. The project brought together a range of public, private, and business partners through complex negotiations, due diligence, and tailored financing solutions by UIF Corporation - managed with expertise, discretion, and care throughout every stage. The new facility will provide a home for education, youth programs, and community gatherings that strengthen connection and learning.

“This was more than a real estate transaction. It was about helping a community find a permanent home where faith, education, and service can grow together,” said Naji. “My clients worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality, and it was an honor to help them reach this milestone.”

The closing highlights Naji’s expertise in representing complex and meaningful transactions for both residential and institutional clients. In addition to luxury homes, she assists buyers and sellers of schools, faith-based organizations, and nonprofit facilities throughout Massachusetts.

“Barrie’s knowledge, patience, and genuine commitment helped us every step of the way,” said president of Malik Academy Mona Abo-Zena. “This center will allow us to expand programs for students and families and continue serving our growing community.”
