New England Construction supports 61,500 s/f Balise automotive program
The Balise Automotive Group has enlisted New England Construction to support their expansion and renovation program encompassing more than 61,500 s/f. The program includes the all-new 21,500 s/f Balise Nissan, the all-new 24,000 s/f Balise Chevrolet both in Warwick, as well as the 16,000 s/f renovation and addition at the Balise Volkswagen in West Warwick.
Balise Nissan opened in May to accolades and praise from customers, employees and the community. The new facility, designed by Curtis Architectural Group, features a spacious, customer-friendly showroom and reception area. The new 7,200 s/f indoor service drive incorporates 15 service bays and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations. The new service registration area features a comfortable lounge with flat screen televisions, refreshment bar and free Wi-Fi access. Many new sustainable elements have been incorporated into the new facility including environmentally friendly landscaping and storm water management system, as well as all new LED interior and exterior lighting.
Work continues at Balise Chevrolet and Volkswagen. The Balise Chevrolet facility, designed by Curtis Architectural Group, will feature more than 24,000 s/f and 15 service bays in support of an expanded inventory and service program. The new facility is scheduled to open in December.
Additionally, the renovation and addition to the existing Balise Volkswagen is underway and expected to be completed this summer. The project encompasses more than 16,000 s/f including renovations and addition to the service area, as well as upgrades to the showroom and customer lounge areas.

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
