The New England Chapter held its Candidate's Night on Thursday, March 25 at King's Bowling, 50 Dalton St. It is located across the street from the Sheraton Hotel and Prudential Center. Approximately 13 potential new candidates attended to meet the SIOR Chapter board members. The evening focused on the current SIOR candidates and potential new candidates to meet with the SIOR Chapter officers and other SIOR members on the virtues of earning the coveted SIOR accreditation. The event is usually a good social event as well as a way to discuss the SIOR organization and the commercial real estate market in general. In 2009, this event was held a few times at Atlantic Beer Gardens on the Boston Harbor and attracted 20-30 attendees.
King's Bowling is bowling for the new millennium with sixteen AMF lanes, state-of-the-art graphics and names programmed either at the console or from the reception desk. Shoes are available in all sizes. Balls are available in all weights.
The chapter has planned other candidate events during 2010.
