The New England SIOR Chapter is holding its Annual Scholarship Award Night on October 21 at the Dedham Country and Polo Club. This annual event is held to announce the recipient of a Chapter sponsored scholarship which provides the funds to attend an SIOR educational course as well as the cost of attending an SIOR national conference. The scholarship is valued at $2,500.
The Scholarship Award is given by the Chapter to an "up and coming" Boston area commercial broker with less than three years experience. The scholarship is named after Bob Holmes who served as New England Chapter president in the 1970s and was a long-time SIOR active member. The evening includes cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres. The Chapter would like to thank Vantage Builders, Inc. for sponsoring this event.
Additionally SIOR Chapter members should tentatively plan for another Bull N' Beer Reception at Bakey's Pub in Boston on Thursday, November 19.
