North Branch Construction supports Carpenter Apprenticeship Program

Concord, NH North Branch Construction has become an employer for the Associated Builders and Contractors NH/VT Chapter (ABC NH/VT) and the NH Homebuilders Association (NHHBA) Carpenter Apprenticeship Program that is supported by ApprenticeshipNH, a federally-funded initiative of the Community College System of NH (CCSNH).

Cam Beauchesne of Raymond, Adam Kenzou of Manchester, Eric Marsden of Londonderry, Alexandra Biron of Moultonborough, Steve Collette of Manchester, and Austin Kessler of Laconia, have all signed on as carpenter apprentices with North Branch Construction. The carpenter apprentices will each complete 455 hours of classroom instruction divided into three modules of curriculum provided by Manchester Community College. Additionally, the carpenter apprentices are assigned a skilled carpenter mentor that will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the required 6,000 hours of on-the-job training that must be completed within the three year program. Upon successful completion, carpenter apprentices earn the Registered Carpenter Certification, a nationally recognized credential from the US Department of Labor, as well as interim credentials from the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER).
