Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors awards scholarships

Because of their extremely generous members, affiliates and sponsors, the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors, once again this year was able to award two scholarships. The presentation took place at the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors office in Cumberland by the board president Debra Smith and scholarship chairperson Denise Rogan with scholarship committee members in attendance. The recipients were awarded the scholarship based on academic excellence, community involvement and extra-curricular or athletic activities. Stephen Albro, of Cranston, will be attending Harvard majoring in Molecular Biology. David Hernandez of Central Falls will be attending Brown University majoring in Neuro Science.
