two sales totaling $2.85 million

980 South Street - Suffield, CT

Suffield, CT O,R&L Commercial, LLC has brokered the sale of 980 South St. for a sale price of $2.1 million. The 23,970 s/f industrial building with over 9,000 s/f of office space is situated on 4.32 acres at the corner of South St. and Marketing Dr.. 

Jay Morris represented the seller, 980 South Street, LLC and Laurie Caserta of Canopy Brokerage Co. represented the buyer, LiquidPiston. 

7 Wescott Road - Simsbury, CT

LiquidPiston is currently located in Bloomfield, Conn., in a 12,000 s/f space, they are planning to consolidate multiple locations into the larger new building. LiquidPiston maintains laboratory facilities dedicated to developing and testing engines and supporting components. LiquidPiston also has a machine shop with CNC machining and assembly capabilities. This building should suit them well and provide the additional space needed to continue expanding their business. 

Also, Bob Gaucher, of O,R&L Commercial, LLC brokered the sale of Shepard of the Hills Evangelical Lutheran Church at 7 Wescott Rd. in Simsbury, Conn. for a sale price of $750,000. This 8,213 s/f church is situated on 8.50 acres. Gaucher represented Shepard of the Hills and Richard Correia of RM Bradley represented Ieke and Mark Scully. 

7 Wescott Rd. was formerly the Shepard of the Hills Evangelical Lutheran Church. Due to declining membership, the church decided to sell the property and merge their congregation with another church. Ieke and Mark Scully recognized that the church property had serviced the community well and they purchased the property in hopes of finding a use that would continue to serve the community.
