The current owners took possession of One Beacon St. in 2006, and since then it has been on the cutting edge for sustainability in Boston. One Beacon St. was the first existing building in Boston to achieve LEED-EB certification, and is currently LEED-EB Platinum. The building was able to do this through many different projects to maximize the buildings efficiency and sustainability over the past few years. The two categories where One Beacon St. has had the most success at becoming more sustainable are through increasing our water and energy efficiency.
