Procopio promotes Brook to chief operating officer

Middleton, MA The Procopio Companies (Procopio) has promoted Shad Brook to chief operating officer. He previously held the position of director of operational excellence. Brook’s promotion is part of Procopio’s continued commitment to company growth and expansion across markets throughout New England (and the Southeast).

Brook began his career at Procopio in the spring of 2021, bringing with him two decades of defense manufacturing and construction executive experience. Prior to Procopio, Brook held roles as senior manager of operations quality for Raytheon Technologies, as well as national director of quality for Suffolk Construction. Brook is also a licensed journeyman electrician in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in industrial engineering and earned his MBA from Mount Mercy University in 2012.

In his new role, Brook is responsible for tactically executing Procopio’s vision. He is responsible for integrating all major functions of Procopio while increasing operational efficiencies, developing and aligning the team, deploying risk management strategies, and growing profitability.
