On Tuesday, February 28th REFA will present A Complex Decision: The Future of the Work Space at the Stamford Marriott at 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Users of space are changing the way they think about the office work environment and it may have a lasting effect on the markets and how fast companies absorb first and second generation space. Occupancy costs are in the top three expense categories for every business and CEOs are recognizing the impact of occupancy costs on shareholder value. The drivers that determine the way companies pick locations and design and build the work environment are changing and these changes may leave some of the existing inventory of office buildings functionally obsolete or in need of major renovations to the base building infrastructure. This program will feature a panel of experts ranging from consultants and allied professionals to users and owners of office buildings.
What are the new drivers of space and their importance to the tenants? How do these drivers affect the cost and impact on the building and its owner?
Panelist include: Michael Carneglia, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Mark van Summern, AIA, Perkins Eastman; Raymond Quartararo, Jones Lang LaSalle; and Jeff Gage, CresaPartners as moderator.
