RF Walsh Project Mgmt. changes name to RF Walsh Collaborative Ptrs.

August 04, 2009 - Owners Developers & Managers
One of the leading project management firms RF Walsh Collaborative Partners hosted an Open House to celebrate its new name and expansion. RF Walsh Collaborative Partners, formerly known as RF Walsh Project Management, has spent 30 years guiding healthcare, life sciences, education, and commercial and real estate clients to successful completion of development projects. RF Walsh Collaborative Partners is led by Jack Hobbs, Donna Camiolo and Joe Naughton.
RF Walsh Collaborative Partners is currently providing project management services for more than 25 clients throughout New England, totaling over $1.5 billion in project development. RF Walsh Collaborative Partners has served a variety of industries and clients, including Boston Medical Center, Caritas Christi Health Care, Partners Healthcare, Mount Auburn Hospital, Boston University, Boston College, Suffolk University, Simon Property Group and Beacon Capital Partners.
The firm has also provided project management services for a variety of K-12 school projects, including Boston College High School, Boston Latin School, Everett and Medford. RF Walsh Collaborative Partners continues with ongoing work for the towns of Middleton, Dracut, Revere and Natick, among others.
"At RF Walsh Collaborative Partners, we approach each project as a partnership and we have a dedicated and talented group of professionals who understand that the best results are achieved by working collaboratively and creatively with clients," said Jack Hobbs, president and CEO of RF Walsh Collaborative Partners. "We put strategic insight and planning to work early in the process to add value, and we think our new name reflects our commitment to the client partnership and vision in each building project."

Most recently, RF Walsh Collaborative Partners celebrated the completion and opening of two major medical projects bringing improved patient care and cutting edge medical technology to the Boston area - the William F. Connell Emergency Department at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Allston and Mass General's Ambulatory Care and Cancer Center in Danvers.

"My experience working with people from the company is that they operate as a group of collaborative partners, so RF Walsh Collaborative Partners is a fitting name," said John Messervy, director of capital and facility planning for Partners HealthCare System Inc., who worked with the firm on the Ambulatory Care and Cancer Center project in Danvers.

To celebrate the new name and the firm's recent growth, RF Walsh Collaborative Partners hosted an Open House at its offices overlooking Fort Point Channel and Boston Harbor. The event, which featured live entertainment and food, was attended by Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, Boston Redevelopment Authority Director John Palmieri as well as a variety of healthcare, education, life sciences and real estate industry leaders. American Idol Vocalist John Stevens provided the musical entertainment.
