Warwick, RI Commercial real estate professionals now have an easier way to ensure that their listings can be seen on commercial real estate sites near and far. The Rhode Island Commercial Information Exchange (RICIE) has joined forces with Commerce RI, the State of Rhode Island’s economic development organization. RICIE’s database of commercial properties for sale or lease are now exported daily to Commerce RI’s website, GreaterRI.com. With this latest collaboration, RICIE’s full-service users will not only have their listings shared with more than 40 syndicated commercial real estate sites, but also through GreaterRI.com, the economic development site that exists to help attract and retain businesses to and in the Ocean State.
RICIE was launched in 2013 by State-Wide Multiple Listing Service to provide an economical and effective alternative for Rhode Island’s commercial real estate practitioners to share and market listing information. Subscribers exchange commercial real estate information directly on RhodeIslandCIE.com, and through syndicated sites like Google, Commercial IQ and Catylist.com. RICIE listings also appear on several Rhode Island municipal websites, as well as RILivingCommercial.com, the only Rhode Island website which caters directly to the commercial real estate consumer. RICIE’s new relationship with Commerce RI provides subscribers with one more way to market listings to businesses interested in moving to or in the Ocean State.
“We’re proud to partner with Commerce RI to provide access to the most accurate database of commercial real estate listings in our marketplace. GreaterRI.com has a wealth of resources for businesses looking to relocate to or expand in Rhode Island, and we’re excited to join them in their efforts to help rebuild Rhode Island’s economy,” said Ryan Antrop, president of State-Wide Multiple Listing Service.
Listings entered into RICIE must contain the following fields to appear on GreaterRI.com: property type (site or building); address; city; state; zip; broker company name; building/land type (industrial, office, commercial, etc.); status; available; acres for sites, square feet for buildings; and listing type (sale/lease). Updates entered into theRICIE system are automatically exported daily to all syndicated sites including GreaterRI.com.
Presently, RICIE markets information on more than three million square feet of available commercial space for sale in Rhode Island, as well as nearly one million square feet of space for lease. RICIE subscriptions are available at varying access and pricing levels. More information can be found on www.rhodeislandcie.com.
