Hamden, CT According to Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker of Colonial Properties, Inc., the firm brokered two sales totaling $1.3 million.

Richetelli represented the buyer, DOCS Realty, LLC in the purchase of 20 Circular Ave. for $511,000. This 6,100 s/f two-story office building on .85 acres was a former Webster Bank branch.

The seller, KUSH RUDHA, LLC was represented by Mike Grieder, Realtor with Godin Property Brokers. The buyer will be converting the building to be used for medical office space.

The seller was represented by attorney Kevin Smith with Pellegrino Law. The buyer was represented by attorney Lisa Kent with Kent Law, LLC.

Tony Vitti, Realtor with Colonial Properties, was the sole broker in the sale of 172 Wonx Spring Rd. in Southington (aka. 8 Metals Dr., Plantsville) for $795,000.

The 10,000 s/f light industrial building on 1.57 acres is located off I-84 and was the former home of Carrington Co.

The seller, Carrington Co., LLC was represented by attorney Max Case, Esq. of Jacob and Case, P.C. The buyer’s, Ryan Brechlin and Thomas Selmont, who will be turning the property into an auction house, were represented by attorney Matthew Jalowiec of Jalowiec Law, LLC.

“These two sales represent the continued demand for owner/user properties. Both buildings will be converted from their prior uses (bank branch and manufacturing) to uses more conducive to today’s evolving economy and are prime adaptive reuse examples.” said Richetelli.
