Russell and Nolan of Pearce Real Estate honored at New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors CID dinner

New Haven, CT Two commercial agents of Pearce Real Estate received awards at the 2023 CID Deal of the Year Awards Dinner, held at Amarante’s Sea Cliff on March 7. The annual New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors Commercial Investment Division (CID) dinner attracted about 50 industry professionals.

Pearce Real Estate senior commercial broker Carl Russell and senior commercial associate Chris Nolan were among a dozen winners of various awards. Russell received three awards including the 2023 Chairman’s Award for Dedication and Distinguished Service to CID. He was also honored with the Retail Sale of the Year for a transaction involving a 29,750 s/f building at 401 Boston Post Rd. in Orange, Conn.

Russell shared the third award, for 2023 Investment Property Deal of the Year, with Nolan. The two were honored for their sales transaction of a three-building complex affiliated with Albertus Magnus College at 490-492 Prospect St. and 411 Mansfield St. in New Haven. The transaction provided an investment opportunity for the buyer in the form of a 10-year lease back term to the college.

Russell is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He has won multiple awards for his decades-long work in the commercial real estate profession, and he is a well-respected instructor in the National Association of Realtors’ CCIM program.

Nolan has served as president of the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors (now the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors) and completed a three-year term as a state director for the local association. Nolan was also a founding committee member of The Downtown Real Estate Brokers’ Committee for a Better New Haven.
