North Haven, CT Carl Russell and Nanette Pastore of Pearce Real Estate have earned a spot on the Power 25 Real Estate profiles for 2022. The 25 honorees were selected by New Haven Biz, which compiles the annual list of “the region’s most influential real estate leaders.” The honorees are selected due to their impact and commitment to the profession and in the communities. Many of the honorees are known for their volunteerism and support of non-profit organizations.

Russell, a senior commercial broker, earned his placement on the list with several large sales and lease transactions and by being a frequent top producer, not just within the Pearce commercial division, but in the company as a whole. “Carl’s dedication, professionalism, and over 45 years in the commercial real estate business all combine to give him knowledge and a skill set that’s hard to match and serve his clients well,” said Barbara Pearce, chair and CEO of Pearce.

The Power 25 Real Estate designation is one of numerous awards Russell has received throughout his career, and one of several he has received from other professional organizations this year. Russell, who specializes in investment analysis, is a certified commercial investment member, and a long-time national senior CCIM instructor. He is also a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. In the past, Russell has served as president of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors and as an assistant adjunct professor of real estate at New York University.

Russell also volunteers in his local community. Russell is a member of the Orange Economic Development Commission and has been part of the Rotary Club of Orange for about 20 years. He is past president of that organization and is the chairman of its annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot.

Nanette Pastore

This is the second year in a row Pastore has been so honored. She was among the designated Power 25 in 2021. Pastore has won many awards throughout her career in real estate including the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year in 2020. She calls her role at Pearce Real Estate “the job of a lifetime.” Pastore oversees the residential and commercial divisions of the independent company, manages the firm’s staff and daily operations, and organizes the Pearce involvement in various non-profits and social causes. Most recently she helped agents fund, shop, compile and distribute Thanksgiving baskets to several charities in the Greater New Haven region.

“Donations like these allow our less fortunate members and their families to celebrate the holiday season, with one less thing to worry about,” said Megan Altomare, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Milford.

Pastore was part of the Allocation Committee of the United Way for Wallingford and Meriden and a director for the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce, the official Chamber for the towns of Wallingford and North Haven. She has served on the Board of Directors of the CT Association of Realtors and as treasurer of the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors.
