Moisture Management in Commercial Buildings: Controlling Costs, Comfort & Indoor Air Quality in the Built Environment April 18th GBREB, One Center Plaza, Mezzanine Suite; Boston, MA Registration 11:45 a.m. - Program Noon - 1:00 p.m. Excessive exposure to moisture is not only a common cause of significant damage to many types of building components and materials, it also can lead to unhealthy indoor work environments. Managing moisture should be a top priority for all building owners. Commercial buildings can be more difficult to properly diagnose when moisture issues are suspect. This workshop will include methods of diagnosing moisture issues, case studies of moisture management failures and common solutions to managing moisture. Philip G. Terrell, Sc.D. is the owner of Environmental Health Inc. and a Certified Industrial Hygienist with extensive experience in building-related diagnosis and assessment. Gerry McGonagle, CR, WLS is operations general manager at BELFOR Property Restoration, working with building owners to provide recovery solutions to all types of damage.
