I enjoy visiting these A&D firms to see how I can help them with any flooring specifications. The University of Massachusetts – Chapel Renovation - The renovation of one of the most iconic buildings on UMass’ Campus and on the National Register of Historic Places. What motivated you to step out on your own? It was never a question to me of “if” but rather than “when” I would start my own firm. To get a better understanding of the whole building process, I was assigned to work with construction supers and tradespeople, to improve the quality on a huge city block reconstruction project. Tiffany Stanewicz is an assistant electrical designer at Interstate Electrical Services and has been with the company for three and a half years. Which project, deal or transaction was the “game changer” in the advancement of your career during the last 10 years? In 2016, we had started Network Design and Construction, Inc. and I was offered the opportunity to learn the accounting and finance side of the business. This then allowed me to step into my current role of operations manager.
