JJManning completes auction of Carnegie Abbey Club for $8.805m

Portsmouth, RI JJManning Auctioneers completed the January 10th closing of the $8.805 million auction sale of fee & leasehold interests in Newport County’s “The Carnegie Abbey Club” held on December 4. The auction was a multi-part or in the entirety event featuring the Donald Steel designed 18-hole course, clubhouse, and 41-slip marina that lie on 280 acres on Narragansett Bay

South Windsor, CT The Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Northern New England (CCNNE) has signed a long-term lease agreement for 200,000 s/f of built-to-suit, class A industrial building at 359 Ellington Rd. The company will use the building as a new warehouse and distribution center. Development is scheduled to be complete and the facility fully operational by November. 

Cawley of United Multi Family brokers $3.42 million sale of an 18-unit apartment building known as the Colonial Apartments

Quincy, MA United Multi Family brokered the sale of an 18-unit apartment building known as the Colonial Apartments at 57 Spear St. The property was sold for $3.42 million ($190,000 per unit). Kurt Cawley of United Multi Family brokered the sale. 

Vidal/Wettenstein and Angel Commercial co-broker $1.375 million sale

Fairfield, CT Doyle Insurance Agency has purchased an office building at 45 Sherman St. The purchase price was $1.375 million for the 3,406 s/f building and back cottage, or  $403.70 per s/f. The firm is presently located in Southport and will relocate their offices to the new location after renovations take place.
