Seppala breaks ground on new Market Basket at Brickyard Square
Seppala Construction recently broke ground for the new Market Basket, the first store to be built in the new Brickyard Square shopping center. Seppala is the general contractor for the Market Basket portion of the project.
The Brickyard Square project has been in the works for several years and will feature a 271,649 s/f shopping center with Market Basket as one of the anchor stores.
"Everything is happening very quickly," said Josh Levy of Waterstone Retail Development, owner of the Brickyard Square shopping center. Levy expects to announce other tenants by the end of the year. Market Basket is scheduled to open by Thanksgiving.
The new 77,000 s/f Epping Market Basket will offer a more modern look. The store will be larger than other Market Baskets in the area which are approximately 55,000 s/f.
