Shair of M&J Associates reps. Salvation Army in $2m purchase

According to Mark Shair president of M&J Associates, Inc., the Salvation Army has purshased a 30,000 s/f building and 3 acres of land on Westgate Dr. at the Westgate Mall.  Construction will start shortly to totally reconstruct the building and parking lot.   Salvation Army will use the facility for a modern family retail store as well as their regional executive offices. The retail facility will feature donated clothing, furniture, books, housewares and toys. The location is adjacent to Lowes and is highly visible from the main entance to the mall. The building was formerly the main office and retail oulet for Merrill's Shoes. Mark Shair of M&J Associates, represnted the seller, Mucci Trust and also the Salvation Army in this transaction.
