Shirocky of CB Richard Ellis consulting division relocates to Saddle Brook office

CB Richard Ellis's tri-state consulting division has relocated Thomas Shirocky, senior vice president, from New York, N.Y. to the firm's Saddle Brook office. As a senior member of the firm's consulting division for more than 14 years, Shirocky is widely recognized as one of the leading real estate consulting experts in the Tri-State region. "CBRE's consulting division is a major component of our comprehensive services platform, offering strategic business intelligence and real estate planning to help corporations maximize their investment, occupancy and growth strategies," saidJeff Hipschman, senior managing director, CBRE, and head of its New Jersey operations. "Shirocky's relocation from New York City to New Jersey will provide our New Jersey-based clients with direct access to CBRE's industry leading expertise in the area of financial analysis and lease structuring." Shirocky has provided consulting services to a wide variety of CBRE's blue-chip clients, such as Baker & Hostetler LLP, Dresdner Kleinwort, L'Oréal USA, Inc., Morrison & Foerster LLP, PNC Bank, R.R. Donnelley, and Tommy Hilfiger USA. During his tenure with CBRE, he has been involved in many of the group's more complex tenant representation and agency assignments, including a 389,000-square-foot lease renewal on behalf of L'Oréal USA, Inc. at 575 Fifth Avenue for its U.S. headquarters, the completion of a 150,000-square-foot lease on behalf of Baker & Hostetler LLP for the expansion and renewal of its lease at 630 Fifth Avenue, the development of a strategic real estate consolidation plan for the County of Nassau, N.Y. and the disposition, sublease and buy-out of more than 600,000-square-feet of excess space on behalf of Dresdner Kleinwort. In order to ensure that an organization's real estate strategies are fully aligned with its overall business objectives, CBRE's Consulting Division offers strategic counsel on occupancy alternatives and deal structure, portfolio optimization, location analysis, organizational strategies, land use and economics, and economic incentives. The group services a wide variety of clients, including corporations, government agencies, financial institutions, lenders, developers, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and investors. Projects range in scope from small, single-use properties to large-scale, mixed-use developments, and diversified multi-asset portfolios and the group's expertise extends to all major land uses, including office, industrial, retail, hotel, residential and mixed-use properties. He is a licensed real estate broker in New York and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and has received recognition by some of industry's most reputable organizations for his outstanding work, including the Leasing Deal of the Year award from the New York City Chapter of NAIOP in 2003 and the 2004 Deal of the Year award from the Association for A Better Long Island (ABLI).
