On December 13th, members of the Connecticut/Western Massachusetts Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) volunteered at Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County's Habitat for Heroes program.
Currently the Habitat for Heroes program is building a home on Barnum Ave. in Bridgeport, for Army Veteran staff sergeant Amodi Todd and her family. Amodi was a Combat Medic (EMT/LPN) during her 8 years of service. In addition to a handful of SIOR volunteers, many others including spouses and fellow real estate professionals joined in the Habitat work party.
The chapter's community action committee is in the process of planning their 2nd fundraiser for the Habitat for Heroes program, which will be announced soon for a mid-2015 date.
