Southern CT BOMA TOBY awards dinner held Ocober 3

On October 3rd, close to 250 people attended the Southern CT BOMA TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) awards dinner at The Water's Edge in Darien. This award recognizes property management excellence and was presented to 33 Benedict Place in the 100,000-249,999 s/f category. Owned by 33 Benedict Place, LLC and managed by Hines Interested Limited Partnership, this property was the judges' choice for a TOBY. Also winning a TOBY was 400 Atlantic in the Earth Category. This property is owned by The Landis Group and managed by 400 Atlantic Title, LLC. 400 Atlantic is a LEED certified property. In the over 1 million s/f Category, the winner was Merritt 7 in Norwalk.
Also honored that night were 5 properties for the Best of the Best award: One Stamford Plaza for Interior Landscaping, Fairfield Medical Center for Medical Office Space, Reckson, a division of SL Green for Green/Sustainability, Enterprise Corporate Park for Exterior Landscaping and Tronox, LLC for tenant fit-out.
The members of Southern CT BOMA also honored their peers at the awards dinner for their time and commitment to the Association. Lee VanDeusen of Graham Capital Management won the Member of the Year Award. Michael Diamond of Affineco, LLC won Allied of the Year. The Corporate Honoree of the Year was awarded to Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and the Engineer of the Year award was presented to Gary Hock of Albert B. Ashforth.

On December 12th Southern CT BOMA will host their annual Holiday party at Innis Arden Country Club. This year, the theme will be "Black & White" and all are asked to dress accordingly.
