Strickling and Dube of Sky Realty Group broker $10.65 million sale of Avery and Boardsen Apartments - which contains 112 apartment units

Groton, CT Sandy Strickling and Anne-Marie Dube of Sky Realty Group have brokered the sale of Avery and Boardsen Apartments, 112 apartment units, located in a desirable shoreline community near Electric Boat, General Dynamics, Pfizer, & US Sub Base with access to I-95, New York and Boston.

Rhode Island-based investor acquired Avery and Boardsen Apartments for $10.65 million ($95,089 per unit).

The Avery property is comprised of three brick buildings, consisting of 72 apartment units. The two-story apartment complex offers 108,873 rentable s/f consisting of 25 two-bedroom, 1one-bath apartments and 47 one-bedroom apartments. The property features spacious units with updated mechanicals, roofs and windows.

The Boardsen property is comprised of 10 sided buildings, consisting of 40 apartment units. The two-story apartment complex offers 32,480 rentable s/f consisting of 27 two-bedroom, one-bath apartments and 13 one-bedroom apartments. The property lists on 2.13 acres on a cul-de-sac and features updated mechanicals. The property was purchased with upside potential with the intention of converting it to upscale living.
