Suffolk hosts Northeastern students for tour of B.C's Catholic Religious Arch. jobsite

Boston, MA Suffolk hosted students from Northeastern University’s Construction Management program for a tour of the company’s Boston College Catholic Religious Archives jobsite. The tour was led by Frank Davis, senior superintendent at Suffolk.

The students are in a course led by Mohamad Tassabehji, a planning analytics manager at Suffolk who serves as a part-time lecturer at Northeastern University. Throughout the visit, the students were challenged to think critically about the daily responsibilities of project engineers, superintendents, and project managers. The experience provided a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world construction, offering an in-depth look at active project coordination and execution.

The Catholic Religious Archives (CRA) facility will connect to the Theology and Ministry Library on BC’s Brighton Campus. The CRA will store archival records of Catholic congregations and religious orders of men and women that have ceased or are planning to cease operations, providing an invaluable resource for religious scholars, researchers, and students on the societal effects of the Catholic Church, particularly in the areas of education, health care, and social services. Consisting of 100,000 linear feet of storage space, the CRA will also house limited artwork from religious sources in both the United States and Canada. The two-story, 44,000-s/f building is expected to be completed in June 2026.
