According to John Fenton, principal and managing director of Avison Young's Boston office, commercial property manager Molly Sullivan and real estate broker Ned Havern have joined Avison Young's operations.
Effective immediately, Sullivan will serve as senior property manager, overseeing 630,000 s/f of commercial property currently under management. Havern joins as an associate on the suburban Boston brokerage team led by Jack Kerrigan and Steve Cook.

"Molly brings over 15 years of property management experience with an excellent track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships with tenants and owners alike. Sullivan comes to Avison Young from New Boston Fund, Inc. where she spent the last 13 years managing a commercial real estate portfolio up to 900,000 s/f that included industrial, office, retail, and residential space. Sullivan's responsibilities also included overseeing major capital projects, tenant improvements, and space planning. In all of her efforts, her primary objective is to meet the needs of owners and tenants, exceed their expectations, and promote tenant retention.

Havern's primary focus at Avison Young is representing users and owners in the lease and sale of commercial real estate. Most recently, Havern worked at Cushman & Wakefield on the South Suburban brokerage team, specializing in landlord and tenant transactions in both office and industrial product.
Havern entered the commercial real estate industry after concluding his professional hockey career. He was chosen by the Dallas Stars in the 2002 National Hockey League draft and played in the American Hockey League until June 2008. Havern holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Boston College and was a member of the 2005 Hockey East Championship team. He was also named a member of the Hockey East All-Academic team in all four of his collegiate seasons.
Havern is currently a member of Boston's Commercial Brokers Association Young Leaders board, and is active in community organizations such as The Travis Roy Foundation, JB's Keys to DMD, and the Boston College Alumni Association.

Over the past three years, Avison Young has grown from 11 to 28 offices and from 300 to more than 900 real estate professionals across Canada and the U.S. Today's announcement comes on the heels of Avison Young opening new offices in Reno, Nevada and Bethesda, Maryland earlier this month.
