Summer Street Advisors advises on $100 million loan portfolio acquisition

Westport, CT Summer Street Advisors, LLC (SSA) played a role in the completion of several commercial real estate investment engagements in the second half of 2016. The firm provided services including, but not limited to: underwriting and analysis, equity validation, credit review, market validation of property values, execution risk evaluation, and due diligence and document review.

SSA’s senior executive team advised on a $100 million loan portfolio acquisition incorporating 10 performing loans in eight state for secondary and tertiary markets. In a separate engagement, SSA lent its specialized expertise on an $8 million property valuation and loan acquisition deal for an unanchored suburban retail center. Other deals included a $65 million acquisition/renovation financing for the redevelopment of existing buildings for office and retail space, a $70 million property acquisition for a 50-tenant retail/office/movie theater complex, a $15 million acquisition/hotel upgrade financing, and a $75 million loan portfolio acquisition on performing and non-performing loans in 15 states.
