Swingers Back Bay to open 21,000 s/f venue in spring 2026

Boston, MA Swingers, the global crazy golf and carnival brand focused on redefining competitive socializing by pairing playful competition with craft cocktails, gourmet street food and an electric atmosphere, is teeing up for its Boston debut. Opening in early 2026, Swingers Back Bay will bring the brand’s award-winning formula of “competitive fun meets premium hospitality”.

Located at 777 Boylston St., the 21,000 s/f venue will span two levels overlooking Back Bay’s streets. The immersive venue will feature two designed ‘crazy golf courses’, multiple cocktail bars, semi-private event spaces, and Carnival, a Belle Époque-inspired arcade filled with games, nostalgic charm, flashing lights, and the chance to win prizes.

Guests can test their skills on a line-up of retro games, such as Roll-A-Ball, Skee-Ball and Down the Clown, all set against Swingers’ signature backdrop of competitive fun and lively soundtracks.

Swingers is developing its new venue in partnership with Tavistock Restaurant Collection (Abe & Louie’s; Atlantic Fish Co.; Coach Grill; Joe’s on Newbury; and Joe’s Waterfront), owners of the Back Bay property. The collaboration brings together two leaders in hospitality to create a social experience unlike anything else in the city.

“Opening in Boston marks an exciting new chapter for Swingers,” said Jeremy Simmonds, co-founder and CEO of Competitive Socialising. “The city’s vibrant energy and love of great food, drink and entertainment make it the perfect home for our unique blend of competitive fun and premium hospitality. We can’t wait to bring something truly different to Boston’s social scene.”

Combined with craft cocktails, curated playlists and Swingers’ high-energy crowd, the result is a destination for date nights, group outings, after-work fun and celebrations.
