What is one major challenge you’ve overcome as a leader, and what did it teach you? One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned as a leader is understanding how to use people’s strengths effectively while recognizing their limits. You want to challenge your team so they grow, but you also need to know when a task plays to someone’s weakness and adjust your expectations accordingly.

Our continued growth over the past year has brought exciting developments. We expanded our Investment Real Estate Service Offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the industry, launching two new divisions
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? I am most proud of my role as OPM for the 75 Broadway development. The accomplishment lies in assembling and supporting a team of top-tier professionals who are the field’s best.
How do you inspire, motivate, or mentor others within your organization? By being empathetic and taking genuine time with others. Too often we hear “I’m just too busy,” or “things have been crazy,” which are not false statements (I’ve said them myself), but one’s own load should not be a deterrent from providing mentorship or instruction to someone in need.
What is one major challenge you’ve overcome as a leader, and what did it teach you? One major challenge I have overcome was learning to communicate effectively with a diverse team throughout three offices that have very different working styles and perspectives.
