What current or recently completed project, accomplishment or initiative are you most excited about, and why does it matter for your team, clients or community? One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of this past year was helping champion Vantage Builders’ 25th anniversary. It’s an impressive milestone that highlighted our people, the impactful projects we’ve delivered since day one, and our clients.
What emerging challenge or opportunity do you see shaping the construction industry in the next few years, and how are you preparing for it? One of the biggest forces shaping the construction industry right now and one that will only accelerate in the coming years, is the rapid expansion of technology in every phase of a project.
What emerging challenge or opportunity do you see shaping the construction industry in the next few years, and how are you preparing for it? One of the emerging opportunities shaping the industry is the rapid integration of technology and sustainability into how projects are planned and delivered.
What current or recently completed project, accomplishment or initiative are you most excited about, and why does it matter for your team, clients or community? Reaching seven years with ARCO and 30 years in the industry is something I’m truly proud of.
What do you wish more women knew about the opportunities available in the construction industry today? I wish more women knew that traditional standards in the industry don’t have to define their future. Appreciate the leaders who set the tone and create space for women to share fresh ideas and ask the thoughtful questions.

My current work on FM’s new campus in Norwood, MA has been what I am most proud of in my career. Not only is it one of the largest projects Shawmut has been involved in,
What do you wish more women knew about the opportunities available in the construction industry today? It’s easy to look at construction and think of men on-site, with hard hats on, swinging a hammer. I wish there was more talk around how many different roles are really involved in bringing a project to fruition.
What do you wish more women knew about the opportunities available in the construction industry today? There is so much more to the construction industry than most women realize! Everyone always just assumes it’s only manual labor, but there are so many other opportunities in the construction industry.
What is one piece of advice or perspective you would share with women beginning their careers in the construction industry? Be fearless. You’ll make mistakes – take on the task anyway.
What do you wish more women knew about the opportunities available in the construction industry today? From a workforce standpoint, the industry faces a significant talent gap, which creates meaningful opportunity.
