What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why? The most rewarding experience of my career has been starting my own company, Rumphius Marketing, in 2021. After 16 years in the industry, I saw a need for more modern and strategic marketing in commercial real estate and created an agency to fill it.
What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why? The most rewarding project of my career has been building and growing BLDUP. When I joined, it was primarily a news site, but I helped shape its evolution into a robust data and analytics platform.
What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why? My most rewarding projects are those for companies serving the New England area. I love being able to visit the properties and see how my clients are creating and maintaining the buildings and amenities.
What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why? I can remember working on a $12,000 microloan for a daycare center and a multimillion-dollar shopping center refinance. For me, each closing is rewarding because the transaction is about the people running those businesses and my role in helping them make their goals a success.
What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why? A 276-unit ground-up apartment building for Harvard University Housing, targeting Passive House (PHIUS) & Living Building Challenge Core (Living Future) certifications.
