The Black Dog Outlet opens in Wareham

Wareham, MA The Black Dog’s first outlet store has opened at Wareham Crossing next to LL Bean.

The Black Dog is best known for its classic t-shirts and its memorable Black Dog logo featured on all of their products from their tote bags and sweatshirts, to their mugs and dog collars. From its humble beginnings on Martha’s Vineyard in 1971, the retailer now has twenty-two “general stores” all along the East Coast. Customers will be familiar with the brand and long-time fans now have the chance to enjoy their favorite brand at exclusive outlet prices.

Niamh O’Maille, marketing director at Wareham Crossing said, “It’s wonderful to have this local South Coast retailer opening at Wareham Crossing and it’s especially exciting that this is The Black Dog’s first outlet store. We have a unique tenant mix at Wareham Crossing and The Black Dog is going to be especially popular with our customers who love The Black Dog brand.”

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
