The Conrad Group brokers $1.635m sale for Hanover Shop Realty Trust

The Conrad Group, Inc. recently negotiated the sale of 333 Columbia Rd. on behalf of its owner, Hanover Shop Realty Trust. Located on Rte. 53 near the intersection of Broadway and Columbia Rd., the 14,000 s/f plaza was built in the 1980s. Present tenants include Mama Mia's Pizza, Great Cuts, Tanning Plus and Dance Essentials. The buyer plans to make some cosmetic renovations to the property this summer. According to Dan Waldman, vice president of The Conrad Group, "This asset is highly desirable due to its excellent visibility and tenant mix. The buyer owns other properties in the area and has an excellent reputation in the town." Waldman spearheaded the transaction and represented both parties. According to the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $1.635 million. The Conrad Group also recently sold 214 Market St. in Rockland, Mass. on behalf of its owner, Norma Realty Trust. Formerly known as the North River Medical Building, the 6,000 s/f building is situated on 1.8 acres and is visible on Rte. 139. The buyer, Dr. Zaher Hammoud, intends on opening a dental practice in the building. In addition to his offices, he intends to offer medical space to other doctors as well. Dr. Hammoud expects to make major renovations to the property prior to occupancy. The sales team of Robert Conrad and Robert McCourt represented the buyer and seller in this transaction.
