Weymouth Woods Corporate Center - Weymouth, MA

According to Campanelli, they have earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) Energy Star rating for Superior Energy Efficiency for three Campanelli owned buildings: Weymouth Woods Corporate Center, Weymouth; 300 Crown Colony Dr., Quincy; and One Campanelli Dr., Braintree.
The ratings signify that the buildings perform in the top 25% of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and meet strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA. Commercial buildings that earn EPA's Energy Star certification use an average of 35% less energy than typical buildings and also release 35% less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
Ron Billings, director of property management said, "This is a great achievement that we should all be proud of. The Campanelli team is taking a leadership role in building sustainability that we hope property managers in the area will emulate."
The three properties improved their energy performance by managing energy strategically in all three locations and by making cost-effective improvements in each building. To earn the Energy Star, Campanelli installed energy management systems to reduce building operating expenses, reviewed and optimized the sequence of operations for the HVAC equipment and trained our property managers to be aware of energy saving opportunities. Through these initiatives, we have demonstrated our commitment to environmental stewardship while also lowering our energy costs. In addition, the buildings have improved indoor air quality and temperature control, providing more comfortable working environments for our valued tenants.
