Universal Window rebrands and operational enhancements

Marlborough, MA Universal Window and Door, an award-winning manufacturer of replica windows for historic buildings for nearly six decades, has rebranded as Universal Window. The name and logo change mark the culmination of extensive rebranding and operational upgrades designed to streamline the delivery process for its historic preservation and commercial clients.

“Our evolution from ‘Universal Window and Door’ to simply ‘Universal Window’ sharpens our focus on what we do best: crafting custom window solutions for historic and architecturally significant spaces,” said Jeff Reilly, who was appointed CEO of Universal Window late last summer. “The operational upgrades improve our ability to design, manufacture, and deliver historically accurate replica windows that meet the stringent requirements of historic preservation commissions with greater efficiency. As a privately owned company with a 60-year history, these changes are designed to ensure the company remains a market leader for the next 60 years.”

The operational upgrades include:

Capital Investment and Automation: Addition of a third CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine to ensure continued precision and efficiency in custom manufacturing.

Dedicated Project Management: A new four-person project management team will oversee complex projects from initial sale to completion, ensuring adherence to the company’s industry-leading 12-week delivery schedule.

Team Expansion: The sales, administrative, and customer support departments have added personnel to provide more timely service.

Digital Modernization: A redesigned website featuring a more detailed project portfolio and downloadable technical spec sheets.

Universal Window’s custom replica windows are featured in hundreds of buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places − nearly 100 of which have earned awards from historic commissions and national trade publications.
